A simple stand/riser that rises the AMS above the glass of the Bambu printer so that you can have space to store things on top of the glass or look inside the top of the printer. Unlike the original version, it is able to stand on top of the Bambu printer, but there is not enough space for another AMS underneath.
I printed in Bambu PLA Metal Gray to get a good match to the AMS and P1S coloring. Face the fins towards the aux fan on the left side of the build plate to get better overhang quality.
The height of the riser is about 7.5 inches, or 190 cm.
Use 3M VHB or a similar foam-backed tape between the bottom of the stand and the glass to absorb vibrations and prevent slippage.
Use the mirror function in the "Objects tab → right click object" of Bambu Studio to get the opposite side of the stand that is needed.
Use the “add primitive - Cube” function with boolean combine in Bambu Studio to change the length of the riser.
Note: This riser fits the 5-ribbed and 3-ribbed AMS as seen from the side of the AMS. From the comments, I see that some versions of the AMS may not fit, but I'm not sure why. The original model contains a test fit piece that can be printed if worried about fit.
Compatibility notes from original model:
Compatibility (updated) Fits the 3 different versions of the AMS units. However, the fit for the older version (3 large gaps on the sides instead of 4) is slightly offset and the bottom box will protrude out a bit.
