Description

I am sharing on Makerworld this awesome project made - not by me - but Printables user Rob the 3D Printing Dad

This part is used to hide cables powering BentoBox inside Bambu printers.

Sharing his tip:

Use a small piece of double sided tape to fix the left side.

It might be to long, just snip a bit of the end of it is.

All rights comes to his work. I only reshared and added additional profile with 10 mm brims.

printed without issue in Bambu PETG. I would have preferred it at correct length instead of requiring timing. That said, when I put enough light in to trim, I found plenty of other through holes to choose from, including one right next to the BentoBox, so I didn't use the print in the end. I might make a cover for this location if seeing the wires bothers me enough.

printed great! I did have to clip the end a little bit for it to fit as stated in the description. snaps in place nice and firmly.

I have not yet found reliable tape, it must survive up to 60°C. Classic tape for decoupage is not a good choise as it de-glue at higher temps so I have to press it again when cool down. 3M tapes might be good or something for outside.

Replying to @Addamas :
Thanks, yes probably something from 3M should be reliable for both cases (temperature resistance and tenacity) best regards

Had a bit of brim come off the plate but the part held on and finished

Printed just great. Had to snip off a little, to get it to lay flat, but no big deal!

I printed it in PLA and so far it’s working great and looks so much nicer than bare wires lol

Other Issues:Slightly too long. I cut some off and that made it perfect. Printed with ABS to make sure it could handle chamber temps

Issue is written in model info as it’s inherited from original creator. I wanted to keep as vanilla to original creator as possible and everybody cuts for their needs.
