Description

Print at your own risk! PLA Tough or PLA+ recommended. Reports of right arm failure with silk and normal PLA. I am re-testing all supports! I have printed many times no problems (video below as well) but people have posted pictures of right arm failure.

Evaluate model closely and print at your own risk. Remove supports very carefully around arms, wings and teeth.

Used royalty-free commercial license from hoangh20tk as a headstart.

Multicolor version still in development:

They look great! There's been a few recent reports of right-arm-failure but yours appear perfect! I thought I was going crazy because I never have problems printing it. Thank you for rating the model.

absolutely! I saw those mentioned in the reviews and wondered how that was happening. maybe bed slingers ripping it off? or too fast? mine was no issues and I let it cool before removing from plate. supports came off easily. thanks again for the model!

Hello. I'm so sorry this happened. Can you tell me did you alter the profile at all? And what filament did you use? I keep seeing reports of the right arm being problematic. I am going to be removing this model shortly. I feel too bad about the recent problems!

8+ hour dried Bambu Labs Orange PLA Basic filament. I didn't alter the profile and always use a well cleaned and calibrated machine. On the video replay of the print it seems like a layer adhesion issue leads to a spaghetti failure on that arm; thankfully the rest of the print isn't lost. No worries, I'm sure amputee Charizards exist too!

Thank you for the information. I did take the model down while I diagnose more. And surely after some battles I agree!

overall of the final print is 8/10: really nice model and surface is good but just a little overhang on the bottom of charizard’s tail and wings. can’t complain though as it came out really dope!

You GREATLY changed my print profile (I can tell by your picture because I never use Gyroid and there are no trees under his wings) and then rated me 2 stars

Did the tail lift on ya? It did for me in one of my tests but I added more supports before uploading and it worked great. But I clean 100% before every print and glue cool plate.

I tried this profile 9 times and I just could not get it to print successfully. I tried different variations to try and make it work and I have no clue why it was off. thought it was my diligent but I have printed many things with it. cute profile, just didn’t work for me.

Hello. What part gave you troubles? I have no idea why this model has such mixed reviews. They were really good at first but the last several reviews have said the right arm fails. I have printed it multiple times and have video links in the description. I'm sorry you wasted some filament.
