Description

Okay, the initial design was started two years ago. Make many revision over last year, v6.2 yep. So I printed a few with PLA and have been use for cat litter scoop for over a year now. Still functional and stong. A bit dirty, lol.

I invested a lot time to improve its rigidity and more of ergonomics design when you using it.

Sorry, the handle is design for Male hand, it will be sidely bigger to hold if you have small hand. The joint need hammer fits, means hammer it to fit. Purposely design to be rigid link tho.

Maybe you will need some heavy duty cat litter scoop if you have some cats at home, so I share it. Maybe it could be a sand scoop for kids, or something else, who knows.

There are two gap size for scopp body, make sure you print the right one. I generally use the big gap one to remove the big chunky one and use the little one to remove the fine one.

Dimensions: in mm.

Available selections:

V5 ONLY come with one gap size: 2.5mm very small. Don't use it for cat litter.

V6 have two size available: 6mm gap, 3.6mm gap.

Printing suggestions: You want it to be heavy duty. Add brim to handle.

My metal scoop of five years broke and I added a new one to my Chewy subscription but needed a scoop for about three weeks until it ships. Then I realized I could 3D print one and searched for one before I tried to design my own. I had extremely low expectations for a plastic scoop but decided to print anyway because I only needed it for a few weeks. This is a fantastic scoop and I almost cancelled the one on my Chewy order but realized I could still use a spare on hand. This is far more durable than I thought, relatively comfortable to hold, and fits all my needs. There is absolutely no way it works as well as it does so thank you very very much for the design! This is probably the best scoop I've ever used!

Printed in PETG-CF and PETG and realized the strength is a bit overkill with these filaments. It's okay, it's really sturdy. The only thing I wish would improved is to add a hole to hang the scoop on a hook.

the model is great, useful when you lose your normal scooper after a move. I did have issues with the handle when printing directly to my A1 from the handy app, edges would curl up and ended up having to skip object. Printed using the bambu slicer software with default settings and it printed better
