Description

Rosa3D's official metal masterspool doesn't fully fit into the ams, forcing it to be left open and if not, scratching the cover…..

Having empty sunlu spools, I might as well reuse them by modeling an adapter...

After printing 2 pieces :

1 - Cut the empty sunlu spool in half (a hacksaw will do just fine)
2- Insert the adapters on the 2 parts, but be careful, the holes for the zipties must be placed on the open parts of the coil (slots will allow you to pull with a flathead screwdriver just in case)
3 - Turn the zipties heads gently to the outside of the refill
4 - Insert refill firmly into adapters
5 - Secure the filament into the spool's holes
6 - Cut zipties and pull them
8 - Ready-to-use refill :)
