Description

this is the an addon for my suspended tie fighter.. it comes with a slide in frame to the original suspended tie fighter..

the addon has LED channels so you can insert led strip lights in them..

you'll only need 50cm of the LED strip for this model..

This one is a fairly simple print.. one important thing to remember is to set the wall generator to arachne from classic.. this will make the slicer print the strings..

I was just going to print this one and when it sliced I noticed a weird really thick string towards the bottom. See attached screenshot. For some reason this one string is really thick and it tries to print it in sections that are suspended on both ends so won't work. This is using the Print Profile provided. I also downloaded the raw model files and it did the same thing. For extra clarification this is the multi colour version. The single colour version does not have this issue. Can you please have a look and see what might be the problem? I would love to print this one. Also the floating bit of the back section others had flagged seems to still be there as well. (Second screenshot) Love your work. Thanks.

that's weird.. i downloaded the file and try slicing it.. there is no thick string on the bottom layer like yours.. did you try to repair the files?

and for the detached wall.. i think i've repaired and uploaded a new version.. but for some reason it still shows the old one.. i think im just going to upload the LED addon separately..

I use a Mac and the repair files functionality is only available in the Windows version of Bambu Slicer so I can't try that unfortunately. But your comment that it isn't happening for you got me thinking. Maybe I try a different slicer. So I downloaded OrcaSlicer and opened the profile in that and it doesn't have the issue. So I have no idea what the issues is with my Bambu Slicer but I'll give Orca a go and see how it prints. Thanks.

went a little different on the colors. this is an amazing print. 4 Color, strings are white, base is grey, tie is black, red accents all around. ...Now, can you make an enterprise exiting part of a borg cube???
