Discover this small articulated M1 Abrams printable directly without support ! Its wheels and the turret can rotate !

This model needs to be printed on the right side, a support for the barrel is already integrate.

An ingenious system will allow you to print the pivot link of the turret without any supports.

Before printing you must ensure that :

Your bed level is well adjusted and cleaned
Your cooling is sufficient

If you break the wheels of the tank you can print the spare wheel created by Bubutech

This model is inspired by the superb work of agepbiz and its famous print in place vehicles.

Fail adherence at the turret. Made a slice with more support, gyroid infill and brim that are easy to remove.

Prints very nicely, however, the support brim adds two little circles to the body of the tank (see photos) where they aren’t necessary. The support for the barrel is certainly needed, but could be better off as a “tree” type support instead. Photos show the before and after removing supports.

Printed without a problem. Wheels and turret both spin. The supports broke off cleanly and easily.

This is my first “print in place” toy and I am amazed by it. It’s pretty incredible that a 3D printer can print a moveable turret and wheels. Fun little tank for the kids.
