Description

Make All your herbs easy in the kitchen.

This planter ensures that your herbs stay fresh and hydrated.

If you dont yourself use fresh herbs, i know this will be a great gift for those who do.

The Design is quite unique, and are inspired by the hexagon shape (or maybe a UFO?).

This planter dosnt blend into any kitchen aesthetic, so im certain that its a conversation starter.

HOW IT WORKS

The self watering planter is designed to slowly absorb water from the reservoir (This needs to be filled up occasionally).

Its a two piece print (uni body and soil bed).

The water inlet, is alongside the upper part, and is guided down to the reservoir.

The bottom acts like a overflow, so you dont overfill the reservoir.

It is recommended to use a wicking material at the center (between the soil and the water).

This helps to absorb water into the soil slowly. You can place a couple of cotton balls / cotton wool in the bottom of the pot.

I recommend filling wicking material so it is above the reservoir edge, then fill with soil, and your herb of choice.

Basic print settings:

  • Infill : 10%
  • Walls: 3
  • Top/bottom shell layers: 3
  • support may be needed on soil bed (depends on printer settings)
