Welcome to the cozy bee condo! Our 3D printed insect hotel is like a luxury resort for solitary bees. With its funky design and comfy compartments, it's the perfect place for our buzzy buddies to chill out, nest, and do their pollination thing. Pop this cool contraption in your garden and watch the bee-utiful buzz of biodiversity unfold!
Just a heads-up: Printing this bad boy with a 0.28mm layer took over 2 days on my Bambulab P1P, using PLA. You can print the parts separately and then stick them together. Once it's done, you can hang the whole hotel on a couple of regular screws. Easy peasy! There are holes in the back for just that.
Psst! Here's a cool tip: You can grab transparent plexi tubes from AliExpress (50cm long, diameters of 3 & 6mm - 19.7 inches long, with diameters of 0.12 and 0.24 inches). Slide them into some of the printed tubes, and voilà! You've got yourself a nifty little observation spot. Easily removable, so you can peek inside and marvel at the tiny critters, making this not just a bug hotel, but a super fun educational experience!
