Description

I've always been a fan of The Next Generation so I thought it'd be fun to make some coasters with teases of some of the most iconic characters on the show. I realized how much each character stood out, even if you just view them from the collar.

The characters included are

Captain Picard

Commander Riker

Lt. Commander Data

Lt. Worf

Chief Engineer Le Forge

Councilor Troy

Dr. Crusher

Wesley Crusher

I've also included a coaster holder that fits all 8 with the Star Trek logo on the bottom.

(I left out Lt. Yar and Dr. Pulaski but would be open to making them if there's interest.)

While I would have liked to put a bit more detail into the coasters I was limited to 4 colors because of my AMS but I'm still happy with the result (and happened to have most of the colors on hands so that's a bonus)

Because of the color variety I wasn't able to upload 1 project file with all the coasters, so I've broken the projects up to group like colors. Speaking of colors, if you're curious which specific ones I used, see the list bellow

red : Polylite PLA Wine Red

black : Polylite PLA Black

yellow : Polylite PLA Lemon Yellow

silver: Polylite PLA Steel Grey

Brown: Polylite PLA Brown

Blue: Polylite PLA Blue

Skin Tone: FilaCube Skin/Flesh PLA
Maroon: FilaCube Maroon (Reddish Purple, Dark Brownish red, Burgundy) PLA

Printing instructions

I'll be included print profiles for all the coasters and holder, with the various colors set. If you do need to set the colors manually its pretty easy via the eye dropper (though the Warf coaster does take a little time )

Also, orient so the coasters are face down on the bed for a better finish.

The main thing is to up some of the shell thickness fields in the Strength tab

Top shell thickness - 3
Bottom Shell Thickness - 1

Happy printing!
