GPS Mount Police Explorer 2020+

The STL file in question offers an innovative mounting solution specifically designed for law enforcement officers using a 2020+ Ford Explorer for patrol. This product features a unique design that leverages an existing circular indentation on the dashboard, serving as a robust mounting point. The file includes three key components:

Circular Part: This is the primary piece that fits snugly into the dashboard's indentation, ensuring a stable base for the mount.

Snap-In Socket: This component serves as an intermediary, securely connecting the circular part to the GPS mount, allowing for easy assembly and disassembly when necessary.

GPS Mount: The final piece where the GPS device is attached, designed for easy access and visibility while driving.
This mounting solution is perfect for officers who require a reliable and stable GPS setup in their vehicle. It eliminates the common issues associated with suction cup mounts, which often lose their grip and fall, and air vent mounts, which can obstruct airflow. By utilizing this custom-designed mount, officers can ensure their GPS remains securely in place, enhancing their navigation capabilities without compromising on vehicle functionality or comfort.

Due to tolerance issues, I found that ripping a piece of a paper receipt and laying inside the GPS mount adds stability. Also a little double sided tape on the bottom wouldn't hurt but is not required.
