Description

The cutest stress ‘’ball'' squishy toy has arrived : It's the easter edition peeps

 

Printing Tips :

  • If you are not using the provided profiles, add a small 5mm diameter cylinder modifier with no bottoms at the bottom of the cone
  • Print in TPU, Duramic 3D 95A will work great
  • Option 1 : 0,4mm nozzle profile is squishy but stiff
  • Option 2 : 0,6mm nozzle profile will give a squishier feel
  • Generic TPU filament profile worked great for me

Printing Settings :

  • For a 0,4mm nozzle : 0,20mm layers, 6 tops, 3 bottoms, 2 walls, 5% gyroid infill
  • For a 0,6mm nozzle : 0,24mm layers, 4 tops. 3 bottoms, 1 wall, 4% gyroid infill

 

Disclaimer :

  • AMS and AMS Lite are not meant to feed TPU to the printer, use the external spool option
  • The hole at the bottom of the print is meant to be there, it helps air escape and enhances the squishiness
  • The squishiness of the stress ball will vary with TPU hardness, brand and color, you can play around with the infill % to change the feel

These were fun and easy to print. TPU is usually a pain to print with so usually avoided it ...this makes me rethink that.

That's a cute little gang you printed, TPU is not bad at all to print with when you have the right settings and you dry it before a print

one of the cleanest TPU prints in a while. TPU 65A and it’s super duper squishy

that's a beautiful color, I haven't tried the softer TPUs but I'm definitely interested

Accidentally printed with grid inn fill and 3 layer wall so it became less squishy and more hockey pucky. My seam selection could have been better as well. Great model and I got a good finish on this one otherwise.

Looking great! Walls, infill type and percentage really do affect the feel of a TPU print. I'm glad you like it either way

Adorable and easy to print model. I had a tiny issue with the overhang in the eyes and nose, but not a dealbreaker. delightfully squishy, with just enough resistance for a good stress ball.
