Y.A.M.H.S. is a system designed to hold and paint miniatures. It was created by an enthusiast who wanted a simple yet effective solution for handling and painting miniatures. The creator found that existing retail or 3D-printed solutions tended to be expensive or difficult to print. Therefore, they set out to create something more practical. The Y.A.M.H.S. models are easy to print without support, require minimal assembly, and are suitable for various projects. This system is a testimony to efficient and reliable miniature and model handling functionality.

Models:

• Holders: Several options are available for storing or holding models while working on them, such as painting handles, table stands, IKEA Skadis pegboard mounts, and priming sticks. However, it is essential to note that all holders except priming sticks are designed to hold only one or two discs. This decision was made consciously because, during testing, holders with three or more discs had a higher risk of the models hitting each other when they were being placed or removed from the holder.
• Discs: These discs can be used as a base for painting single models or sub-assemblies and come with a magnet. They are compatible with various adhesives such as Super Glue, 3M Double-sided Tape, Poster Tack, and Museum Wax. Also, holes in them can be used with 1.5mm and 1/16" copper or music wire.
• Magnet Helper: A small stick sized for the same magnets as the rest of the system, features an arrow to keep your orientation consistent.
• Skadis T-Clip System: The fabulous T-Clip system developed by Line Arc Line has been utilized for the included IKEA Skadis Holder. If you want to use this Holder, print out 2 T-Clips for each.

We recommend printing the discs in groups of colors to make it easier to keep sub-assemblies together. This approach also provides a great way to use leftover filaments since each disc weighs less than 5 grams.

While inserting the magnets, it's imperative to maintain consistent polarity. Please refer to the included diagram to ensure that you glue them in the correct position. For consistency, we suggest using the same polarity within the discs if you already magnetize your bases.
