Jetfan V5 for Parkside Performance, Einhell, Action AX Power and Lipo Batteries.β¨
Custom built Jet Fan with a 6s EDF Impeller and 2.25KG of thrust.β¨65A @ 25,2V - 1638W Power.β¨β¨β¨β¨
What you will need:β¨β¨
40A - 60A ESC - depends on what Battery you are using:
(For Einhell 45A is the best choice, For Parkside up to 50A (for 4AH) If you have a 8AH Parkside Performance Battery you can use a 60A ESC - Please check size (slot for ESC is 39 x 14mm)
https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DBBgcKZ - This will only fit up to the 50A Version.
β¨β¨https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DlgcZM7
- Only ESCs up to β60A" will fit into the handle for sure! Technically the 80A ESC will fit too, but it will be a tight fit. β¨

If youβre using a Einhell Battery Choose β40Aβ or "45A" - Which will result in 840W of power. (45A and up is also okay)β¨β¨
If you are using a Lipo Battery, like for drones or other RC things you can choose the β80Aβ version, this will bring you a the maximum power of the fan with 1640W. (Make sure the lipos can deliver this much power by calculating their βC-rateβ multiplied by their capacity. Also please check if the size of your ESC fits into the handle (slot for ESC is 39 x 14mm)β¨β¨
if youβre not sure which ESC to buy or which Lipo you will need, leave a comment.β¨

β¨Some Cable Shoes to connect the battery, such as these:β¨β¨

β¨β¨β¨Also you will need some cables, a soldering iron, shrink tubing, and of course a Einhell, Parkside (Performance or normal (minimum of 4AH)) Battery, a Action AX Power or a Lipo Battery.β¨β¨
βββββββββββββββββββ¨
So to get this to work properly you need to program a Nodemcu (ESP).β¨ I will tell you how to connect everything together in the next step.
β¨βββββββββββββββββββ¨
The Button:
β¨- One Wire goes to GND on The ESP8266
β¨- The other Wire goes to D1
β¨
The ESC:
- Red goes to 5V on the ESP8266
- Black also goes to GND together with the Button
- White is connected to D4β¨
Please note that not every ESC can be controlled the same way. Therefore it might be necessary to change the Value in line 15 of the code to either 1000, 1500, or something in between. For my ESC I needed a Value of 1050 in order to initialize the ESC to even start. So if your ESC does not initialize with this code, try changing this value.

You can download the Source code for the ESP here: β¨β¨β¨β¨
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e4h1-Q_91Taencku_zB5DzH__qRJPs9A/view?usp=share_link
Please Note: if your ESC does not have a BEC (a 5V output) you will need a step down module such as these:β¨β¨https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DEQPoeHβ¨β¨
or these:β¨β¨
https://de.aliexpress.com/item/32582982343.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.131.60371802dClYjf&gatewayAdapt=glo2deu
β¨β¨if you choose these, do NOT connect your Nodemcu to the output of this step down module before checking the output of it. It needs to be set to 5V with a screwdriver and a multimeter.β¨β¨
βββββββββββββββββββ¨β¨
To see if the code works properly and everything is wired correctly connect your battery and press the button.β¨If the Motor starts up with a curve the code is working fine.β¨β¨
βββββββββββββββββββ¨
β¨Would love to see your makes.β¨β¨
