Description

I tried a bunch of different light seal sizes and couldn't find one that made the AVP comfortable on my face. The clip on adapters that other people have released didn't look great and weren't perfect for me so I designed my own. This adapter is unique in that slips over the AVP audio straps from the front rather than clipping on from the sides (you'll have to remove the straps with a SIM ejector to install the adapter).

The second strap sits at a -5 degree angle (i.e. 5 degrees towards the back of my head), which I found to be most comfortable for me but I'm including the 3D printing files here if anyone wants to play around with the design.

This is by far the best mount for a second solo band. Thank You !

After using it for a bit they are great. Only feedback I would give is to make it thicker. If you crank the top band too much it snaps since it's so thin walled. Printed in PLA and PETG. They both snap. So I ended up printing it in ePA Nylon to make sure it does not do that but I would make it thicker to make it completely perfect. Still the best mount available ... Thx

Thanks for the feedback! I've updated the model and print profile to increase the thickness of the outer and top walls by another 1.5mm. Give it a try!

How do you put this on? I printed but there is no way to slide it on over the speaker bump. I feel like I must be missing something. Can you please add some photos showing how it is put on and installed? Thx!

Love this, thank you for making it!! If I had one suggestion it would be to try out a version where the mounting point for the top band angles the band slightly towards the back of your head. As it is now, the top band is very far forward on my head, and it might be nice if it rested a bit more towards the middle of my head. Maybe you could include it as an alternative design, if it turns out to be comfortable.
