3D model description

A new look for the famous FMS ATLAS 6WD.

This one is, again, inspired by trucks in Snowrunner video game.

Main frame is fitted onto the truck, you just have to remove all rear plastic parts on the rear area of the model

You need M1.4 screws to fit the rear of the main frame in the last rear holes of the Atlas chassis frame.
6 screws helps to properly locate the bottom plate on the main frame, but some glue is required to get it correctly assembled.
This bottom plate is printed flat and bent after printing. A jig help you to get the correct angles. It is better to bend when the part is still a bit hot. See piectures to check how it should be when assembled.
The roof if printed flat as well and bent also. Use front end or rear end to get the proper angles.

I suggest to glue the two sides panel to the bottom plate. There is a rib on the side panels to locate with the bottom plate. Adjust angles before glueing and press during assembly to bet it right.
Check 90Β° angle between both to get a square shelter.
one after the other and now place the front panel between both side panels, again ribs halps to locate.
Add more glue from the interior side to secure assembly
Then check everythng is squared and not twisted and let it dry a bit
Now is coming roof assembly, check again the angles and place the roof on the box with some tape. then add glue from the inner side to avoid glue marks on the exterior. See pictures
check everything is squared and let it dry. check it s glued every where before removing the tape.
Then end with front panel. Use some tape ad a hinge to get git at the right place.
Everything else is added to the box using jigs and you can doo what ever you want. Pictures can show you how I made it.
Antennas are what is coming out of the nozzle, just extrude in high position, the wire is 0.4mm diamter and perfect for the antenna. It is just fit into the hole, then if broken you can replace easily.

Very simple to print

All screws are M1,4 x 6 8 mm depends of the place.

As usual you have to redrill holes to 1.2mm when a screw has to screw in and redrill to 1.5mm when a screw has to go through freely.

Parts have to be located properly on the bed as I don't know how to do it at the design phase
