3D model description

Fursuit or costume eyes are commonly painted on a mesh so you can see through them.
These stencils are to help get sharp pupils and eye shine when painting fursuit eyes.
Ideal for airbrush but can be used with paintbrush and acrylic as well.

These stencils should be sized approximately for eyes that're all about the same size, however you can scale them as needed.
remember to shake your acrylic paints before painting!

I recommend using "charcoal" solar screen from Pfeifer brand (at home depot) for eye mesh. You can also buy small quantities from me here:

Once you have the mesh, I recommend using acrylic paints. Airbrushing is super useful and ideal with these stencils, though you can also use a paintbrush with a very light amount of paint on it, so you don't fill the mesh holes and block vision.

once your eyes are painted and dried, they are sufficiently waterproof to use as-is. The only way you'll get paint off the eyes is from soaking them and scrubbing them.
To SEAL the paint and prevent any running or paint removal, I highly recommend using Rustoleum clear matte spray paint sealer. You'll wanna shake the can first to thoroughly mix it, then hold it at least a foot back from the eyes then spray a nice mist at the mesh. BE SURE not to soak it to where the mesh holes get filled with spray, as this will block the vision. You only need a small mist, then let it dry. You can do multiple coats like this if you're nervous, but it's better to under spray in multiple coats than to overspray and have clogged vision.
