I created a 3D printable copy of this amazing Michael Klements creation that seems to defy the laws of gravity!

Total dimensions when printed: X= 125 mm, Y= 90 mm, Z= 3 mm

Each triangle measures X=103 mm, Y=90 mm, Z= 3 mm

The assembly will use 4 strands of nylon thread of the same length (holes are 2 mm in diameter) and superglue.

Since this assembly is very complicated, I made a mounting base that makes it much easier to glue the strands together.

Tips and Tricks:

  • pass the wire through the hole, adjust to the right length and then push the tip of a wooden cocktail stick through to block.

  • the center wire can be replaced by 2 magnets.
