3D model description

This is an enclosure for a Raspberry Pi 4B attached to a Good-tft 5" touch screen. Suitable for Octoprint, Klipper Screen or similar. I designed it to fit on both my Seckit SK-Tank and Rat Rig V-core 3.

Source CAD if you want to remix: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/57448dcb08c03a7e1b07ec93/w/5364edd7985b8c3581def649/e/ad0b281c616f329ca868c8fd?renderMode=0&uiState=6232b61ae68bd936fad0d6c3

Modelled with help of this model: Raspberry Pi 4 model: https://grabcad.com/library/raspberry-pi-4-model-b-1

I purchased the TFT from here (Pi 4B version): https://littlebirdelectronics.com.au/products/5-inch-lcd-hdmi-touch-screen-display-for-raspberry-pi-4

Instructions to setup TFT on Pi: http://www.lcdwiki.com/5inch_HDMI_Display#How_to_use_with_Raspbian.2FUbuntu_Mate.2FWin10_IoT_Core_System

As seen in this video:

All parts print without support. PLA is fine unless your Pi is running very hot.

  1. The Raspberry Pi slides into the front housing.

  2. The inner brace then clamps the Pi in place. Two M3 x 8 counter sunk bolts secure the brace.

  3. Slide anchors in from the rear through the rear lid. M3 x 18 mm bolts for each anchor. The standard rear lid is to suit four anchors. The alternative version is to only suit three, and creates a passage way and space to run a dedicated power cable which can be soldered onto the SMD header of the TFT.

  4. Rear lid attaches to front housing/internal brace with three M3 x 12 mm countersunk bolts.

  5. Mounting foot attaches to anchors with two M5 x 30 mm bolts.

  6. Attach mounting foot to printer. Spacing is 90 mm to suit Seckit SK-Tank but this will also bolt to V slot extrusion too.
