Nexus 4 Wireless Charging Orb SIMPLE VERSION Free 3D print model

**UPDATE:** See my upgraded "FANCY VERSION" The Nexus 4 wireless charger orb (http://www.amazon.com/Google-Nexus-4-Wireless-Charger/dp/B00BGSPIP2) would be awesome if it would hold the phone reliably to prevent it from slipping off. But most reviews gave it 1 star for being useless because the phone slips off and it doesn't charge anymore. I got it anyway and experienced the same problem. So I made this stand for it which holds the wireless charger upright, and has a little lip to keep it from moving around (but doesn't obstruct the device). It was designed so you can drop the phone on it both upright and sideways, and it will not only charge, but you can use it while it's charging! You might want to use some double-sided tape to hold the orb in place in the frame, though I'm pretty sure it would work without. This tape is freakin' awesome: http://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Heavy-Duty-Mounting-Clear/dp/B00004Z4BU. It is spongy and the adhesive is very strong. I use it for everything around the house, and was especially perfect for keeping this thing together. You might consider using it hold the stand down to the desk, too. Additionally, you can drill through the "tongue" on the bottom to attach it to the edge of a desk (see desk pictures). I didn't put screw holes in it, but it's pretty easy to drill through so you don't really need it. When attached like this, it's solid as a rock and still works in both portrait and landscape mode!
