Lôwe von Aspern or Lion of Aspern is an artistic sculpture meant to be a memorial of war times by Anton D Fernkorn. Finished in the year 1858 in Vienna. So this memorial was meant to relate to the lives lost by Austrian soldiers in the battle of Aspern, thus its name.
