Yuri's Night happens every 12th of April as a celebration of the first human flight in space by the Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, also celebrating the power of space to bring the world together.
Completing 60 years of Yuri's flight, this year the Russian space agency Roscosmos released a special patch.
So this is a 3D printing version I made of that patch so we can remember this amazing date in the history of space exploration. Now you can celebrate Yuri's Night with some extra perks!
There are two versions of the patch (English and Russian) and both can be printed using pause/resume to change the filament during the print.
For more information about Yuri's Night, check here.
If you print any of those plates, make sure to show the results here on the Makes section of Cults3D or tag me on Twitter and Instagram.
Cheers!
The models can be printed in a standard 200X200 mm buildplate using a 0.4mm nozzle. It is not recommended to downscale the model as some parts might become too thin (unless you are using nozzles of smaller diameter). For upscaling or downscaling a good tip is: with the model sitting flat on the surface, rescale only X and Y so you will not make the model too thin.
