3D model description

Here are 12 tiny nesting bowls that fit neatly into one another. I designed these for organizing game pieces for the board game Everdell, but you can use them for all sorts of stuff.

I set out to make just 6 bowls, but after I saw how cool it was to make one bowl fit perfectly into the next, I just couldn't stop making them bigger and smaller! (Kind of like the Seinfeld episode where they keep driving the rental car with no gas to see how far it will go.)

I thought this project would be easy -- just scale each bowl, right? -- but no. It was hard. There are a lot of variables to keep the bowls fitting nicely, and keeping the same wall thickness on each bowl required a lot of custom work on each bowl.

Bowl Size Guide:
Sizes are the outside dimensions. The wall thickness for all bowls is roughly 2.8mm.

01 (Smallest): 42.8 mm wide by 12.3 mm tall
02: 47.7 mm wide by 13.6 mm tall
03: 52.6 mm wide by14.9 mm tall
04: 57.5 mm wide by 16.2 mm tall
05: 62.5mm wide by 17.5 mm tall
06: 67.4 mm wide by18.8 mm tall
07: 72.2 mm wide by 20.1 mm tall
08: 77.1 mm wide by 21.4 mm tall
09: 82.1 mm wide by 22.7 mm tall
10: 87.1 mm wide by 24 mm tall
11: 92.1 mm wide by 25.2 mm tall
12 (Largest): 97.1 mm wide by 26.5 mm tall

Print without supports. I recommend a wall thickness of 1.2mm or greater and a top and bottom thickness of 0.6mm or greater.
