3D model description

Here is a functional printable assembly of the iconic MP40 sub-machine gun. As there are no technical drawings for the parts I have created it using a few reference dimensions and then scaled to suit. The assembly breaks down into parts that the real weapon is comprised off but each part has had to be modified to be printable and functional when assembled.

Currently, I have only posted the full assembly version STL's as I want to print the assembly myself before I release the files so that I know that every assembly is going to be successful so nobody is put off printing it.

My end goal is to correctly size springs for the recoil and trigger mechanisms so it can be cocked and fired (obviously minus real bullets).

For more of my replica weapons, see my collection - https://www.thingiverse.com/lilykill/collections/replica-weapons

Update 05/01/16
STL's uploaded but I have not printed this myself so please leave feedback if you do.
The only part that I havent included are the stock as I havent finished the parts for printing yet.
