3D model description

This part converts 8mm Thread x 1.25in deep internal female threading suitable for standard cymbal stands to 5/8in Microphone male threading suitable for most microphone mounts.

The model has 2 flat sides, which increase the overall reliability and strength of the 3D printed threads, without the need for supports.

These flat sides along with the accompanying knurled grip texture on the round sides also helps increase your grip while tightening the adapter onto a cymbal stand, for easier use.

The edge of the female internal threading is also beveled to ensure easy tightening onto your cymbal stand. Great for drummers who play gigs or travel a lot, these will be much stronger than the existing adapters you can find on amazon with the cheap rubber middle section, and this is a fraction of the cost.

3D printing settings

I printed these in Overture PETG, 1.75mm at 0.1mm layer heights on a modified Creality Ender 3. Higher strength than PLA with no additional steps necessary.
