Regelbau R638 Large German medical Bunker - Field hospital - STL

The regelbau (plan) R 638 corresponds to a small reinforced concrete hospital inserted in Stützpunkts (strong defence points) to give first aid to the gunners of the bombed batteries. It is a known component of the Atlantic wall and that of the Mediterranean.

Bunker 638 is made up of two entrances protected by a firing shutter in order to fire at intruders. Each entrance landing opens its door to the anti-gas hallway. The latter opens onto a central reception room. Around this room, 5 doors each leading to a room. From left to right. A technical room for heating and ventilation. The room for minor injuries. The operating room. The seriously injured room. The living room of the nurse on duty. Outside a niche raised in the mass for an armed guard. Usable area approximately 100 m2 for a building buried up to the roof of 960 m3 of concrete with exterior walls and ceiling 2 meters thick (interior walls 0. 3m) on the original regelbau 638 (thickness of the plan adapted according to the supply of local concrete) with a size of 15.5m x 14m (excluding shoulders), height 5.1m - ceiling height 2.3m. It is about 1700m3 of earth that must be excavated and removed to install this buried blockhouse. It would have been built 53 on the shore from Norway to the Mediterranean.

This STL file is designed for FDM Printers and print with a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.3mm layer height.

Supports are not needed for this model. At larger scales these bunkers may become larger than more common build-plate sizes, you may need to cut them into sections for your machine. Please check the size below.
