Silhouette Miniatures for the scifi tabletop game Eclipse Phase. These are designed to work with the included bases — each silhouette has a sprue that snaps into a slot cut into the base, making it quick and easy to print off a batch of minis and attach them to bases without the need for glue. Circle and hex versions of the bases, both numbered and un-numbered, are included.
This pack includes silhouette minis for the Eclipse Phase's Synth Morphs, all scaled to work as 28-30mm scale minis. Print out a space whale, though, and it'll be big.
Art for the silhouettes was created from the Morph Recognition Guide. Like the rest of the Eclipse Phase sourcebooks, it's released under a generous Creative Commons license by Posthuman Studios and derivatives like this are not only allowed but encouraged. If you enjoy scifi tabletop games, check it out!
As flat silhouettes, they're simple to print, but there are a couple of important points to remember. The shapes are quite detailed, and using a detail nozzle (.25 or .2 mm) will yield higher fidelity results than the standard .4mm nozzle.
Depending on how carefully your printer is dialed in, the bases can be a tight fit. They're designed to "snap" in permanently without glue. Flexing the printed base a bit, then working the edge of the mini's sprue into the base slot, is usually enough to get it in. In a pinch, I've also just used a pair of needle nose pliers to "pop" them in palce with a squeeze.
