3D model description

It's the last day of #3DPrintmas! And we're ending it with a bang. It's a full sized Keyblade Prop from the game Kingdom Hearts. This is Riku's Keyblade when he turns into Riku Ansem. Also called the Keyblade of People's Hearts.

I created the model in Fusion 360 by tracing a sketch and revolving the blade part. Then extruded the spiky bits at the top and the handle guards. I also created pins to hold the different pieces together and I labeled the inside of each piece so it's easier to tell where things go to assemble it.

Then my wife glued all the pieces together. Used repair putty to fill the seams. She sanded the crap out of it and sprayed with a few coats of filler primer. Then she painted it with some hammered metal and some black spray paint (Red for the handle guards). Then hand painted the purple and gold parts around the handle.
