3D model description

This is my AM8MU project i wanted to build an AM8 style printer only i wanted it to be a bit bigger than the AM8. this is based on the AM8 quite loosely but i made my own choices on a lot of the parts which differ. his is the guide you need to up-scale an AM8 to any size you want there really is no limits. Although my build is only a small up-scale in the grand scheme of things it is still a bigger printer in all ways.

i spent a long time theorising how to make this printer and i talked about it on many Facebook groups including the AM8 groups. No one could help me in any form in telling me if my theory was correct or not and i got very little feedback. In the end i just had to make it and hope for the best and it actually turned out great it really works as it should.

I am sharing my work with everyone so if you want to upgrade your am8 to a bigger size or just make a brand new build based on the am8 here i have exactly what you need! This project can be up-scaled to any size you want and i have included all the parts and pictures of them in the files. i have done a guide and a formula in a pdf so you can do it too.

This guide has all you need to know for the upgrade including an explanation and a formula to doing the up-scale. i put the important information at the beginning of the pdf so you dont have to go through the rest of it if you don't want to.

My choices are all in the pdf while not everyone will agree these are just my choices you can change those to anything you want.

p.s. the crystal tower is here for the purpose of needing a stl to post here but you can use it if you want good to be printed in clear filament and lit up with led's.
