Goddamn I love Kainé^^.
Ok this was so cool to make Kainé printable.
I really like Nier Replicant because it is so artistic and the music.....is awesome.
So, yeah it was a really need to fix Kainé. The big problems were the face and the dlittle details.
The good thing was it was easy to separate the objects and bring out a very good print. The remodelling of the details took some time. The bandages were very difficult to recreate, but I think it is suitable and loogs good.
I had the idea to create a pin and hole system for the legs and body, to stick both elements better together. The first print was witout the pin. When I created the m esh it was not included.
So in printed this version and it was easy to assembly. I also wanted a bigger version and added this mssing element. But it was not good, it did not fit very good in the hole and it was better without the pin.
So I used the first version which is easier to assembly.
The pedestal is basically necessary for this object. The blade is a bit lower and you need to glue the backside to the pedestal, otherwise it could lead to stability problems.
I maade a bigger pedestal for smaller prints and also a second version for bigger prints. the base was to big for the bigger version and I recreated it for this purpose. Both pedestals work and I think they look really good.
