3D model description

Heavy cruisers are a class of cruisers produced by treaty restrictions in a specific period. The Washington Naval Treaty of 1921 stipulated the upper limit of the displacement of the cruiser and the caliber of the artillery: the standard displacement is 10000 British tons (10160 metric tons), and the caliber of the artillery is not more than 8 inches (203 mm). According to the provisions of the London Naval Treaty signed by the naval powers in 1930, the classification of cruisers is divided into two levels according to the caliber of equipped artillery: Class A cruisers with a main gun caliber of more than 6.1 inches (155 mm), and no more than 8 inches (203 mm), that is, heavy cruisers; Class B cruisers are cruisers with main gun caliber no more than 6.1 inches (155 mm), namely light cruisers. With the expiration of the Treaty in 1936 and the expiration of the binding force, this classification gradually disappeared.
