Are you looking for an aftermarket reverse camera for the BMW F generation car?

With this adapter bracket, you can attach ALPINE HCE-C1100 in a similar way as the BMW original one.
It provides a snap fit on BMW original boot grip / trunk push switch such as 51247463162 or 51247368753, which has a cut-out for the original reverse camera.
To fix the camera on the adapter, you can use 4x M3 screws that are supplied with the camera.

I designed this adapter bracket originally for my F22 coupe, to pair with an Android screen.
There are lots of "Boot grip integrated ones" from many unknown brands in the market with a budget price (up to 50 EUR).
They look good, however, I wanted to have something decent from a reliable brand.
After some searching, I found ALPINE HCE-C1100 seems to be a balanced choice in terms of performance and price.

Since the boot grip is quite commonly used for many F generation cars such as F10/F11/F20/F21/F22/F23/F30/F31/F34...the adapter should work on those cars as well.
However, please understand that I’ve tested only on my F22 2 series coupe so far. So if you have any problems with other cars, please contact me with information (picture would be helpful). Depending on the problem you have, I will try to fix by design change or otherwise process a refund.
Of course, if you give me feedback about successful fitment, I would appreciate it a lot!

3D printing settings

Printing Recommendation
- Layer height: 0.15 - 0.2 mm
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Perimeter: 2
- Infill: 15-20%
- Material: PETG
- Support: No
- Orientation: See pictures

For printing, there are 2 options. 1 piece version and 2 piece version.
If your printer handles overhangs well, then you can print in 1 piece. On the other hand, 2 pieces version would be easier to get a successful result. The example in the pictures was printed in 2 pieces and glued together. Gluing is also easy since you can use M3 screws to align those 2 pieces.

Update(18.12.2022): I added some pictures of SLS printed part and 1 piece FDM printed example. SLS part was ordered to JLCPCB. It looks/feels pretty decent and costs only some euros includes shipment. I can recommend this option as well.
