3D model description

"CONDUIT"
A lightsaber scabbard to carry lightsaber in a more stylish way. Make your lightsaber look like a Ninja sword (ninjatō).

This scabbard is designed to be generic and work for ANY lightsaber with a FLAT emitter. This will accept a 1 inch (25.4 mm) outside diameter blade. Example lightsabers that this will work for:

  • Luke Skywalker ROTJ green lightsaber
  • Obi-Wan lightsaber (OT and Prequal)
  • Mara Jade's first lightsaber
  • Ultrasabers Initiate, Aeon, Apprentice, Sentinal, Dominix, Arbiter, Archon, and more
  • Saber Forge Aggressor, Antagonist, Bastion, Consular, Defender, Stalwart, Adamant, Nova, and more
  • SaberTrio Arclyte, Aeryn, Vahlken, Vektra, Senza, Sologaard
  • and many more.

Modular. Print as many of the parts needed to achieve the look and length you want. Parts glue together.

Lightsaber NOT included.

You will still need:
* About 8 inches of 24 gauge wire for cosmetic effect
* about 2 yards (1.8 m) strap 1.5" (38mm) wide.
* 2 rectangular rings 1.5" or 2" wide.
* 1 adjustment buckle 1.5" or 2" wide
* needle and thread to sew the strap to the buckle and rings.
* super glue
(I will provide links to examples).

Lightsaber NOT included.

PRIVATE USE ONLY.

3D printing settings

0.1 or 0.2 layer height
20% infill
Supports ONLY touching build plate.
No raft

The inside diameter of printed part should just be enough to have a light friction fit for a standard 1 inch (25.4mm) diameter blade. the Lightsaber should be easy to draw out but will stay in place when scabbard is held upside down. If too tight, scale model from 101% - 102%. If too loose, scale model from 99.75% - 99%.

Two parts will require to be paused during print to drop in and capture the Rectangular Ring in the ring holes. Read included instructions (pdf)
