ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Cutting-edge but deadly dangerous Omni Consumer Products’ inventions seem to be a common occurrence in the city of Detroit. Under the guise of the RoboCop project, the unethical scientists conduct inhumane experiments that lead to the creation of bizarre mechanical beasts, such as ED-209 and RoboCain, that cannot help but go rampant. Only our dedicated hero, the one and only Robocop, can stop them!

The amalgamation of the deceased drug lord Cain with the eldritch exoskeleton is incredibly impressive in the form of a model for 3D printing. The eerie design starts with the beak-like armour faceplate, twists into the mechanic body with an abnormal number of claw-like limbs, and has powerful weapons protruding from it. Gambody Moderators enhanced the model with various active joints with multidirectional movement that will allow you to pose the creature in the most unsettling manner. Use the wonders of 3D printing technology to bring it to life!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Cain for 3D printing is an active assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 60 hours in total.

For you to receive the cleanest 3D printing result possible and minimize the amount of filament needed for generated support, the RoboCop 2 was divided into convenient assembly parts. In the DLP/SLA Static version, the assembly was simplified for 3D printing beginners.

All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. After downloading any model file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to the Cain model.

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown. The model’s scale was calculated from the approximate height of the RoboCain - 2510 mm. The 3D printing model’s chosen scales are 1/8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1/16 for the DLP/SLA version.
