Swappable Bokeh Kit - Canon 55mm f1.2

I love the Canon FL 55mm f1.2 lens! I decided to make a Creative Bokeh Kit for this lens. Being such a fast lens and all the available options to adapt this lens to modern digital cameras, I wanted to make it easy to be creative. Can be used for photography stills and videos.

This Kit requires only 1 main Bokeh Disc Adapter, specifically to fit perfectly snug over the lens. Then the Creative Bokeh Discs just snaps in snugly and retaining the ability to swap out disks, quickly and easily. I designed it so that you can rotate the disks to orient in the direction of your photo - horizontally, vertically or skewed... it's up to you! The "ThumbsUpDown" can be dual purpose, by rotating the disk to show Thumbs-Up or Thumbs-Down.

Remember to shoot in the widest open aperture on the lens (f1.2-f2.8) for best results.

Print settings on my Flashforge Creator (Original): 

Bokeh Disk Adapter = Black 1.75mm diameter ABS plastic  filament (Hatchbox brand), no

supports, 10% infill, 0.2 layer height, 2 shells, 30 (mm/s) feedrate, 120 travel feedrate, 230º nozzle, 110º heated bed. Allow Adapter to cool down to harden and shrink.

Hot Swappable disk = Black 1.75mm diameter ABS plastic  filament (Hatchbox brand), no supports, 15% infill, 0.2 layer height, 2 shells, 30 (mm/s) feedrate, 120 travel feedrate, 230º nozzle, 110º heated bed.

I've only printed in black filament. I do not recommend printing in light or transparent/opaque filament as it may create unwanted coloring, flaring, etc.  Light needs to be blocked/blacked out and allow only the desired shape to enter the lens. You can always paint it but paint may rub on the ring of your lens.

Of course, every printer and filament reacts differently. My suggestion is to keep the shells thin enough for slight flexing. this took me a lot of time, prototyping, refining and designing the patterns. This kit includes Adapter ring and 12 Creative Swappable Bokeh Disks! A bokeh kit on B&H sells for $25, I think this will supercede in performance and you won't look like a total amature with a rubber band and paper over your lens! Plus, you can reprint if you ever lose any of the parts!

SIDE NOTE: I have other patterns with trademarked logos, that I can not SELL, as I do not own the logos/icons/images. However, I will provide those up for free.
